The whole phenomena in NC began.... of course,..... at Midnight.... 12:00 AM in Advance North Carolina:

| UFO traveling north-south flys over rural farm area slowly and silently. UFO sighted while driving down a back road in rural county. It appeared to look like a large red planet but much brighter. It appeared due north and was traveling due south at the stroke of midnight. It appeared to sit still for 1-2 minutes and it became more dim as it got closer. As it was passed overhead, the amber light disappeared and we started seeing what appeared to be white flashing lights. Within the white flashing lights you could see almost every color in the spectrum. It appeared to be triangle/diamond shaped and made absolutely no noise. Couldn't judge the distance and felt disoriented after viewing it. It appeared to disappear in the distance but video indicates scattered flashing lights. |

The Winston Salem Report was at 3:45 AM local time:
| I had just left my Girlfriends house outside of winston salem off of I-40 heading east toward. I-52 , when I noticed and odd shapes object in the sky not very high above the city of winston, at 3:30 am. The object was visibly projecting light! To be clear NOT reflecting, but projecting a beam of light toward the ground. I kept an eye on it to see if I could notice and red or green lights like a plane or helicopter would have and after a few minutes I was able to determine indeed it did not have any. I continued onto hwy 52 heading south when I noticed it had moved drastically south and had somewhat changed what the shape was. I pulled over after a few minutes to get a better look and shut my car off to see if I could hear anything. With no traffic in sight it was dead silence, I could not her a sound coming from this. I took my phone out and continued to take about 15 pictures and as I zoomed in thats when it became extremely obvious this was not any aircraft I have eer seen before. It continued to change shapes, from a half sphere to almost a boomerang of multiple lights. A few pictures you can actually see that it had multiple individual lights on the perimeter of it. It seem to come a little closer after a bit and I was by myself and nervous , so proceeded down 52 south with the craft staying constantly to my left side, after about 25 minutes I made it to interstate 85 and headed south west, that when the craft continued a south bound path and I eventually lost site of it. |

This Kings Mountain Report Was At 5:30 AM

| "T-Shaped" lighted craft travels North-South across sky at low altitude, makes very soft, hollow whistling noise, sky flashes I went out to smoke a cigarette at 5:25 AM on Friday, September 5, and immediately noticed a "T" shaped craft with 6 bright amber lights (three on each side describing a "T" shape) and two tiny white strobes (one on each arm of the "T"). Craft was flying low from North to South at about the speed of a commercial jet on final approach for landing. There are no airports here. I determined the altitude by following the sound the craft made, which was a soft, hollow whistling noise as it passed overhead. Did not sound like any jet aircraft I've heard before; it was very quiet. Sky flashed a dim green as craft passed overhead, like heat lightning. Skies clear. No Port and Starboard running lights observed. Sighting lasted approximately one minute, until craft receded behind treeline. |

But, come darkness in the evening of September 5th saw the reports at NUFORC once again light up for Cary NC at 8:30 PM (dusk)

| bright glowing circular object south of Raleigh Durham Airport in Cary NC. Witnessed a very bright and large glowing circular light. Approximately 5 to 7 miles south of Raleigh Durham Airport in Cary NC. Object was stationary for a long period of time then gradually moved. Red/yellow/orange glow. Then, overlapping in time but said to begin at 9:00 PM in Emerald Isle NC was this report at NUFORC:

| Emerald Isle orange lights At first we thought they were flairs until I saw something fry from one of the lights. The othe object had no light, that's how bright these "flare lights" were. There were 4 orange colored objects taking off from the horizon. They traveled too high to be flares. |

Not to be over quite yet - at 9:30 PM this was reported to UFO Sightings and occurred in Elkin NC:
Event Description
The object starting flashing,Moving slow.Then started Moving extremely fast,Like faster than any thing flying I've ever seen,Very disturbing...
